IRON MAIDEN on Indonesian National Television, SCTV

This video captured by a BlackBerry from a live news program on SCTV, one of the biggest national TV station in the country.

British legendary heavy metal band and also Grammy winner, Iron Maiden with their private flight 666, Ed Force One, landed for the first time in Jakarta, Indonesia on Wednesday (16/2/2011) afternoon.

Hundreds of local die-hard Iron Maiden fans dubbed "The Indonesian Troopers" gave a warm welcomes for them at the airport and spontaneously screaming when each members of the band exit from the gate.

Original Production, the promoter for this soon to-be historical concerts also held a press conference at the hotel and the only member that represented the band at the presscon was the lead vocalist and also the pilot of Ed Force One, Bruce Dickinson.




Iron Maiden will do a two outdoor concerts in Indonesia as part of "The Final Frontier World Tour 2011". The first concert will be held in Carnaval Beach, Ancol, Jakarta (17/2) and the second in Lotus Pond, GWK, Bali (20/2).

The cult heavy metal band have a very strong fan-base and so many followers in this archipelago since the mid-'80s. It's the long-awaited and most highly anticipated concert of the year 2011.
