sry for commenting too mcuh but aren't we supposed to avoid lifting up foots when hitting bass drum to avoid the beater bouncing, or is that how you made the bass drum sound loose and long? thankss

@EvilN00ber To be honest, I had a problem with my beater bouncing years ago but no longer. I think it may be because I now use an Axis pedal which is a direct drive pedal.

@EvilN00ber If you want a deep open tone, pull your foot away from the bass drum immediately after hitting the head.
