  • Does the SP101 (spurless hammer) have the same trigger issue as the DAO Ruger LCR? I heard that with DAO revolvers you have to let the trigger return completely to its forward position before you can make another shot. Does the spurless SP101 have this problem?

  • @distortionmaster20 Yeah, you do have to let the trigger reset just about all the way forward. I wouldn't call it a "problem" though. It's just the way the gun was designed.

Whoa ... omg ... wait ... hold up ... what ... is ... that. on ur left hand? R u on the juice or what. That looks like a mean popping vein that looks like it belongs on a hard on than on a hand.

  • @pccchurch That's a scar I got from dropping a skateboard on my hand. Massive griptape burn.

  • Just picked one up the other day, I thought the weight may be too much but it feels better on me then a compact semi!!

  • @TheHobbyistChannel The weight feels perfect to me. Heavier would make it sag in my holster. Lighter would mean too much felt recoil. At 25 oz, this gun for this caliber, is right where it should be.

  • @distortionmaster20 What double action revolver doesn't have a long reset? They all do.

  • Love this weapon. The hammer version my primary carry in a crossbreed. I like a solid metal weapon for this caliber and higher. I wear it during the summer with shorts and a tshirt and it carries just fine. In fact, it's in the holster when I cycle commute to work.

  • @setherman412 some people just feel more comfortable with a weapon, and some people just enjoy their guns.

Just like some people enjoy their shoes, cars, bikes, watches, and other hobbyist and aesthetic items

  • I'm getting this gun for it's power and size. I originally was set on the 2.25 inch so i would be able to just stick it in my pocket, but now i think the loss from a shorter barrel and sight radius outweighs pocketability. do you think the extra .8 inches or so would disable me from having it in my pocket? Just around the house because I live in CA so I'm not paying $200/yr to carry

  • @distortionmaster20 umm.. im pretty sure thats how all double action revolvers work.

  • @setherman412 Turn your TV and watch the news sometime. Or better yet watch the ID channel for one evening.

  • Seems like everyone buys the Hogue grips for this gun.

  • @setherman412 Obviously he carries a loaded gun because of all the other people carrying loaded guns! that's why everyone carries around loaded guns! DUH! If everyone carried a gun no one would want to use one on eachother, and all the soda cans lying around would have lots of holes in them ;)
