Tips on how to successfully launch a tumblewing walkalong glider. The winglets need to be facing up, the downward facing fold forward and the upwardfacing fold in the back.
For more information on how to build and fly the tumblewing see:

  • you did not walk

  • Yes, I did not walk. THis short video details only how the tumblewing should be launched. It is the second video in a series, to be followed by the video titled "Sustaining a Tumblewing Walkalong Glider with a Paddle"

  • good tips! can you do those without any plans or diagrams?

  • There are plans for this design, but once you get the hang of it you probably don't need plans.

  • how do you make a big walkalong glider

  • There is a jumbo walkalong glider but it is not a tumblewing. It has a wingspan of 3 meters. If you build an oversized tumblewing, you will probably need a larger area paddle to fly it.
