The season finale for Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles was mind-blowingly amazing. However, there was one teensy little continuity problem that drove me through a loop-- they got the color of Cameron's eye diodes wrong! For all 30 of the previous episodes, Cameron has always had eyes that glow a sexy shade of blue, similar to the T-X from Terminator 3-- this was one of the many indicators of the fact that she is a more advanced model than the 800 series terminators (including the T-888s). However, for some reason, in episode 31, which is likely one of the most important episodes in the show's HISTORY, they decided "aw frak it... We'll just make her exposed eye be red, like all the other terminators!" When I saw this, I shouted "LAME!" at the TV. Seriously, you'd think they'd have someone to check the continuity of these things... :\

Anyway, I decided to play around in After Effects to see how her exposed eye should have looked, and I ended up doing a scene's worth of re-coloring. I hope you enjoy it, and maybe this will encourage Warner Bros. to fix this glaring oversight by the time the show comes out on DVD and Blu-Ray. Poor Cameron just got the tar beaten out of her, the least they can do for her is get her eye color right! I mean, what's the point of ripping out one of Cameron's pretty brown eyes if we're not even going to see those lovely blue diodes that have been hinted at since the show began?

  • All Terminators have red eyes. They didn't get it wrong.

  • @THGHOST2010 All terminators except for Cameron, and the T-X.

  • why is her EYE blue.

It was in the movie red.

    I"m sure it was red.

  • Cameron is a different model and she's supposed to have blue eyes, like the T-X from T3.

  • i didnt actually like the ending to the series

  • As a season finale and lead in to a third season, I thought it was great. But seeing as we aren't getting a third season, I can't say I blame you, because it was a pretty sour note to end the show on. :(

  • The T-800/888 has red eyes and their vision is displayed in red. The T-X has blue eyes and has blue vision. Cameron's vision is in full color which leads me to believe she can make her eyes whatever damn color she wants.

  • blue eye .... chill-mode!

    and

    red eye.... attack-mode!

  • Dans la version Française, son œil est rouge...

In French version he are red...

  • @Timstuff Erm, no, ALL Terminators.

  • @JOHNRAMBO19920124 In the tv show her eyes are red. I dont know how or why in this clip its blue cuz I have the season on dvd and its red. but it is suppose to be blue cuz in the first season it shows her eyes blue.

  • It's a curious thing. I also wondered about that blue-red eye stuff. In an earlier episodes we can see some kind of blue reflection in her eyes. First when gets "laserscanned" for identification and later at Dyson's home.

But amazingly, I first saw this final episode a few months ago in a version with red eyes then. Would this be something like a difference between the broadcast version and the DVD version or kind of ???

  • She's a different model. Pay attention.
