@Quag7 I couldn't agree more! VERY succinctly put! I've been listening to SAMIAM since 1991 when I found the first album on cassette at my friends apt. Him and I used to shoot dope together. I went out and bought "Soar" right away and listened to them non-stop until today, May 28, 2011. Neither of us shoot dope anymore, we're both sober and we both still love SAMIAM. I've listened to them during my rough times and pleasant times. I sung their songs to myself in state prison...

@elmerslashp I never know how to describe songs like this. Samiam has always been a band I've put on in my worst, most bitter moods, and to a large extent they soak in the same sea; in fact their music is kind of a life preserver thrown to me when I'm down in it myself.

This song in particular.

I am a fan of many bands but there are few to whom I feel grateful. Samiam is one.
