nah this is pretty fast once you get used to it. i noticed that my typing on my regular keyboard at my desktop got a lot faster now too because im always visualizing where the next key is...

this is slower than the fuckin T9 (tested it just right now, and english is not my native language so it might have been a bit harder in this way) just as those fuckin two-finger qwerty's on blackberrys and nokias. The fastest input would be a well taught T9 instead of shiting with these but we can't forget, they got to make their profit so they need to find out newer and newer ways to buy the buyers to buy their trash...

@luthienfan that's an unfair and gross simplification and criticism.

as the video shows, swype keyboard still works with regular tap input, so when you have 2 thumbs free, you can still type as fast as you could. But when you only have 1 thumb, swype is definitely faster than typing.

it's a legitimate technology and you're shitting on them for trying. Would you prefer that they stop doing stuff like this and create lots of hello kitty phones and pikachu phones?

ShapeWriter is quite frankly a superior product and available now on Android and the iPhone and, I believe, WinMo as well.
