On April 30, 2008, NS train 14M, led by NS 9056, dropped the fifth unit in his consist, NS ES40DC 7678, at the interchange with the East Erie Commercial Railroad in Erie, PA. 7678 was later picked up by another train. Watch as the train makes the drop and then proceeds eastbound for Bison Yard in Buffalo, New York.

  • i dont know too much about trains..but why didnt they drop the loco on the sideline and leave the main line clear..that would make more sense wouldnt it?

  • Nice video, but why did he drop that unit? Did another train need the power?
