A traditional Welsh folk song/lullaby. The song has been performed by many artists and especially Welsh choirs. I have arranged a mix of two performances but apologies for my amateur sound mix. The song is sung in Welsh and I have tried to translate the song using my photographic images which I hope will give you an idea of what the words are.

  • It is a shame that you have never heard this beautiful song before. As you sing in a choir perhaps you could get it introduced into the choirs repertoire.

  • She has the loveliest voice, so clear ~ Leah Owen - doesn't need all that phony background noises tho. Leave it clean w the soloists and choirs. With Ar Hyd a Nos, and Suo Gan, lovely.

  • Falling to sleep....with a tear in my eye !

    God bless Wales

  • A thousand times more beautiful are you than the white rose - how sweet
