Do you need a CDL to operate a tow truck? I know now days any vehicle under 26,000lbs only requires a regular drivers license. Like furniture trucks and rental vans but I dont know if tow trucks are over 26,000lbs or not. I have considered working as a tow truck driver in the Baltimore area.

thats freakin sweet!!!! its about time a tow truck has some lights. most around here have a light bar but thats it. dangerous on the highways with nothing else
