This might be fiction....but it is exactly what many companies do to sell goods. They focus on the fear factor.....that something might be wrong (whether it is true or not doesn't matter). I almost had a friend get sold a set of snow tires with such a tactic recently. She lives in an area where snow is infrequent....and they decided to try to con here with the info that her all-season radials did not have a snowflake rating, so she was taking a risk.....

Your's is the face of a dead beat :) You (if you're the guy who's playing the contractor) are really funny and have a lot of potential as a comedic actor. My suggestion is that you join or start a comedy troupe for your sketch comedy, but get actors that can play a scene to your level.
