@przemekkk666 it's just the same, only you take the front of the cam off instead to get at the micro switch.

@DABOXASH And you don't use any IR filters right? Only modified nightshot?
Would you show how to modified this nightshot sensor in DCR TRV140E on your blog??:) Please :D Your last movie "how to modify your camcorder" is excellent but I don't see everything clearly unfortunately...

@przemekkk666 There's no need for filters with a modded cam. With the trv140, (which is even easier than the trv87), it's just the case of removing nearly all of the black screws that have a small arrow pointed at them. Once this is done, the front of the cam just comes away. It is quite easy, anyone can do it.
