AGHK is the primary proposer of this geopark proposal and has been working closely with the government to ensure the whole project serves the purposes of conserving geological heritages, popularizing geosciences and promoting environmental friendly and sustainable tourism development. The Hong Kong Geopark will follow the straight standards of Unesco global geopark and is a holistic approach to conserve both the physical and biological environments.
