We all work for British Antarctic Survey and this was on a winter trip which is part off the essential winter training that we do. Some folk climb some snow board some just ski-doo around. We skied. We do two separate weeks like these with each person working south over the winter. It is about the only time during the year when people get a break from their normal job. Riet is the chef I am the field assistant (mountain instructor).
