We begin with a visit to the front hillside in my own garden. Of course Cody, the Garden Dog is staying close by the camera! One of my favorite rhododendrons is 'Sir Charles Lemon' and I like it because of the beautiful brown velvet on the underneath side of the leaf. While it does have white flowers, my plants have yet to bloom, it is beautiful year round for the foliage. It likes some shade especially from the hot summer afternoon sun.
