German Folk Song (around 18./19. century) in Low German (Plattdeutsch). My English translation tries to follow the words of the song, not the correctly English grammar. I hope, you can see so that Low German and English are from the same family. This song is well-known in whole Germany and in every German country (here Berlin) the pronunciation may be a little bit different.

@southcanada It's a "Low German"- song (Plattdeutsches Lied). It comes from Schleswig-Holstein. But we sing it everywhere in Germany. I know it from Mecklenburg.
