I Can't Get Any Dentist to Give Me a Straight Answer on this Question: How can a dentist possibly justify charging the same price for a veneer as they do for a crown. The prep work is far more extensive for a crown. How can they charge so much for far less work

Having Veneers is really good than other treatments with a good team cosmetic dentist and their proper procedures and steps to provide their customers the best and good result of smile. good question! i wanted to get all porcelain veneers but i got crowns because crowns last ...well they can last forever ! i got 8 crowns(full porcelain) done on my upper front teeth just because my doctor recommended to get

(full porcelain crowns instead of porcelain veneers ) and he said because it is cheeper more lasting and better for your teeth and gums! he also said that he doesn't know why porcelain veneers are more expensive lol

@inkey2 lab fees. it costs the dentist anywhere from $800-$2000 (depending on the lab) to order a veneer. Then they have to use cement etc to put it on the tooth. They aren't mechanics... lol.

your not supposed to have those teeth shaved down anymore. It is NOT good for the teeth by any means. Most cosmetic dentists do not shave down the teeth any longer! but be ware!
