Game 8: Memorial Spartans vs. Beloit Memorial .mp4

Nothing like fun at the old ball park eh? How about 12 innings worth? The Spartans traveled to Beloit to take on the Purple Knights. Three and a half hours later, the Spartans emerged with a much needed 8-6 win.

Zach Ransom got the win, closing the door on Beloit inning and inning and ended up with 8 K's in six innings of work in relief. Offensively the Spartans were led by David Luciani with four hits, and Mike Moss and Mark Pokriefke with two hits apiece. Danny Ritchie had three RBI's including the game winning sac fly in the top of the 12th.
