One of the greatest pop songs of all time. That tall blond does a great job. Not easy to sound that good live. This is a great example of why this country sucks now, an uplifting song like this wouldn't have any meaning in this greedy, kill middle America abyss we're currently in. I'd cut off an arm to go back to these days.

@WickedTornado HAHA!! Thanks Joel! I guess you could say that I'm a happy camper! Pepe Cardona (male lead singer) and John Parisio (guitarist) in this video are original members of Alive N Kickin, and are on the recording of the song Tighter & Tighter. They both have gold records on their walls for that song! #1 hit, summer of 1970, before my time! Oh how I love this song. The original is etched in my mind forever. We sometimes play it at my retail store in Arizona over the stereo system. That song immediately takes me back to 9th grade ('69) in dusty ol' Tucson, Arizona. Tucson wasn't the big town it is now...it was totally different then. Lots of dune buggies and dirt bikes blazing thru the desert surrounding town. A great rock 'n roll city. If there was such as thing as a "house" band for Tucson, it'd be ZZTop or StevieRay.

A guy I work with said he saw them in a bar in the 70s. The lead singer, Pepe was wearing a cape and top hat. My drunken coworker and his buddy tied table clothes around themselves and proceeded to steal Pepe's hat-following this, they ran around the bar for a while. Once this got boring he said he then actually picked Pepe up; He pleaded to be put down. Given the mans size I feel pretty bad for him. Needles to say my coworker was ejected tossed out However, he did say they put on a great show.

The crowed at this gig sucked they were making too much noise talking and walking around I only wish I would had been there I would had grabbed a mic and told all those people to show some respect for one of the greatest song of all times
