that happens with mine , he is friendly but sometimes because of his tail's position (all curly up) and the ears all forward other dogs think he is looking for trouble , but not .

She is fine with our two Border Collies, who were both pups when we got them, she dosn't like strange dogs much, and it takes her a while to 'tolerate' my sisters dog when he comes to visit. With most breeds, early socialization with lots of other dogs at an early age and through their lives is the way to avoid or reduce agresssion. The other thing is that alot of other dogs misinterpret the body language of shar-peis, so they often react aggressively to shar-pei, so the pei reacts back.
