Hi, everyone :) When open a .jar or .jad file on the Blackberry phone, we have to click the download button to install, and the phone says downloading blah..blah...blah. Is that process absolutely offline or not? Why is it a 'download' button instead of 'install' button. I don't understand. Would anyone explain please? :)
Actually, I want to avoid any potential, accidental charges for downloading contents( apps, games, themes).

@zycosas do you know why on my phone doesn't work? i tried but when i want to enter the game it's appears an error maybe because i didn't copied the game on my memory card and i did it on the telephone memory? i have a blackberry 8320 and till now the only games that i downloaded and worked were ".alx" . and if you have the answer can you please teach me how to install ".jar" on my telephone. thank you so much. ( sorry for bad english)

@Yonjutz what aqprince said is right. jar is simply a java based apps that are not nessisarily made for blackberrys were as .alx files are apps specifically for blackberry phones. so a lot of times .jar files may not work with BB. there could be any number of reason for that error for that specific game such as hardware compatibility, the programming etc. my best advise is see if they are any comments or data about which phones it is made for & what has it been used on.

@Yonjutz websites for those types of stuff usually allow people to add if a certain app worked or didn't with a certain phone.

@Yonjutz send it to you In a private message since it doesn't allow me to put up links in the comments
