I edited this video on Avid Media Composer. It is a fun feel-good piece on some interesting cats

  • Thanks SO much for sharing this!

I recently was adopted by a Hemingway kitty. He's a 6 month old stray that came to my door and decided he wanted to live here.... The first day I saw him he was timid so I just put out some food. By the second day when I woke up in the morning I heard a thump against my front door and there he sat in the doorway LOL I opened the door and in he came. When you love cats, what's one more?

  • Very good video about the best thing at Hemingway House. Forget Papa, gimme CATS!

  • Just loved seeing this video. Thanks for sharing. I have 5 of my own. They are all here in this room with me, cause the heater is on. Cat lovers are the most human among humans.

  • I love this! My cats (I have 3 rescues) have blessed my life in more ways than I can say. They are my inspiration to being a writer and an artist. Although, when they try to sit on my keyboard, it's time to stop and give some lovin or they won't stop till they get it. Great video!

  • Every artist or writer has to have a cat!

  • I loved watching this. I hope to go to the Keys one day and visit Hemmingway House!

  • I have one too ^^ She's sooo cute

  • One day I took my first cat to the vet. We had an appointment, but for some reason there were many emergencies that day. One of the ladies that worked there felt bad, so she decided to show me a little stray that had been brought in. So I went and saw the sweetest little Hemingway kitten. It was love at first sight. We adopted her and she is so happy. She had been abused, then abandoned, and then hit by a car. Then we adopted her, making the perfect cinderella story.

  • YAY! It's Charlie Chaplin. He was my fave & constant companion & tour guide when I was there. He's the big, fluffy, toothless puss seen in a few spots, but 2:13 is a good cameo shot of him. I wonder if he's still alive? What a nifty video to stumble upon. Here's hoping that I can make it back to see the kitties again before I 'buy the farm.'

  • I had more fun visiting this house and hearing the stories of Hemingway and his wives and cats.. Hope no one bothers the cats.. I saw a site where they are trying to remove them..

  • So cute , my kitty Charlie is a polydactyl ~ had no idea this existed till she adopted Me recently ~ been down to the keys all my life , I live in Fl . have never seen this ~ she is My good luck charm & heart ~ xo

  • Cool those cats look awesome! I'm considering adopting a polydactyl cat(s) and if so will name one of 'em mozart after one of my fave composers! rad!
