Spike's second partner in crime or anticrime is Faith.
These two are clearly powerhouses of action. Vampire vs Slayer...sometimes its hard to decide if theyre fighting along side each other or against each other. They compete in every way. While Anya brings out the softer side of Spike, Faith brings out the rebel within him. As a slayer, her presence reminds him that, with or without a soul, hes still a vampire.

One thing they have in common is their history with Buffy. Buffy has seen the best and worst of them. Its a love/hate relationship, and while both Spike and Faith want to be a part of Buffys world, theyre also struggling to work within the boundaries she sets. The thought of Buffy serves as a constant reminder of the world they want to be a part of but are not yet ready for.

And on the rare occations when Spike and Faith are not fighting, their relationship sometimes resemble that of a Slayer and Watcher.

Hi another good video! I'm really getting curious lol! I just don't understand "when" exactly you made the spin off start, is it after the very last episode when Spike sacrifices himself? Did you give a sort of explanation of How he comes back to life and....Why doesn't he want to see Buffy T_T ? Excuse me for so many questions but i'm going to be your fan number one lol

The spinoff starts after the Angel series. In Angel Season 5, Spike came back via the mysterious amulet he used to save the world. He kinda came back as a ghost but not really because according to Fred (the girl that turned into Illyria) "Spike's radiating heat." It's complicated...there was also a flashing cardboard box involved that brought him back to full form without a detailed explaination.

@anksunamoon135 sure thing! I'm glad I can share a little bit of the backstory. Since Spike didn't get to meet Buffy in Angel, in the "Bonus" episode of Soul Searchers I tried to incorporate some Spuffy moments for all those shipper fans out there!

About Spike's hesitation to see Buffy - in Angel Season 5, Spike explains that, "Oh. I expect Buffy would be happy enough to see me. It's just, I gave up my life for her, the world, and if I show up now, flesh and bone, my grand finale won't hold much weight. All of it...won't matter." That was his answer.

These episodes are great, I'm rewatching them! I actually sorta like the "reuse" of the clips because it makes the story more believable in a way; like we can understand it better. About what MuttWilliamsJones said about building the story around clips, I think AU videoers pretty much HAVE to do that because if they come up with an idea but there's no clips then they can't make these videos for us to enjoy, haha!

Great editing, good dialogue and concept. I am a little disappointed that so much of what's happened on the show already seems to have been used as-it-happened in order to use the clips, almost like the story was written around the clips and not the other way around. But I'm going to keep 'tuning in', sort of hoping Spike and Faith get together. :)
