  • Thanks. He had just turned 13 in this video. He is now 15 and holds 8-World Records in Powerlifting, has been published in the 2009 issue of Sports Illustrated and is now competing in the World Strongest Man Competitions starting this July 2009. He's come a long way from this video. You should check out some of his newer videos and see how he's doing now. Thanks for the compliment.

  • he got 210 for max squat...theres a 14 yo in my class that got 240 for max....and he just turned 14 6 days before he maxed out...so its impressive, good job, but not the best....still, hes gona be a beast in highschool

  • In January he was published in Sports Illustrated for his accomplishments, on WINK TV and in the Ft. Myers, FL. News Press. Darian is for real. No Bullshit. Take your lifts to a sanctioned powerlifting meet, compete, take videos of the competitions and then post your numbers. Then you'll have something to brag about. Until then don't comment about Darian or anyone else's lifts until you can prove your lifts to be true. Time to step up or SHUT UP!!

  • Interesting comment coming from people that don't have any videos of themselves doing any of these lifts. Darian holds 4-World Records in the APA, 4-World Records in the RAW United and is leaving tomorrow to compete in the USAPL Europa Show of Champions in Orlando, Fl. on Sat. 4-18-09. Without a doubt he will walk away with another 4 World Records this weekend as well.

  • When i was 13 i was 220 and my lifts were as follows:

    Bench 235

    Squat 350

    Deadlift 405

    leg press 550

so the kid in the video is strong but not impressive.

  • I squat 255 and im 13(:

  • again, i've said you're plenty strong, but if you would just post a video with you doing good form nobody would say anything. maybe people will complement you on how tight your form is when you post a video to prove it...i can't see why you would want those videos representing yourself.

  • ima make a music video of my training for powerlifting, and bodybuilding maybe, but im mostly powerlifter

  • hell yeah i agree, deadlift i pulled thousands, well not as like you jacob lol, but i have pulled thousands or bench presses, and dumbbell snatches, i train like a powerlifter, everyday 3.5 hours, and your right some people dont know whats difference between good and bad form. all of lifts are good form, expecially bench press, which is the worlds record i wanna break, my deadlit is sometimes badform,

  • like look at this 13 year old kid in this video NOW...all his lifts are solid and with perfect form no matter how heavy the weight is. take notes from this kid dude.

  • well yeah but there are like 4 videos of you on youtube and every single one has bad form. both of the squats are halfway down, and i don't know why you jumped up 40 pounds if you didn't break parallel, and both deadlifts have you rounding your back and not driving through your legs. just post a video of you doing good form with anything and people will stop saying it, nobody hates you, they just don't want to see you kill yourself doing this stuff.

  • i'm just letting you know, it's not the weight that messed it up, it's your form. you don't push your hips low and drive through the legs, you yank on the bar. your squat video has you going halfway down on the squats. as i said, you're strong, but you need a coach because you're miles away from having acceptable form.

  • dude. you're a strong fucking 15 year old, powerliftingaddict. but if you lift 460 pounds with that deadlift form again you might herniate a disc. deadlift is lower body bud, get your hips low and drive through your feet instead of pulling on the bar with your back.

  • I could overhead press 35kg at the age of 10, big deal.
