It'd be nice to see him stick his finger into the turbo and have his friend stomp on the throttle.

WTF!?!?! Backpressure on the inlet side? LOL, now I've heard it all. You do realize how many performance cars run turbochargers without intake pipes right? You dont need backpressure with any turbocharger system, not even the exhaust side...the turbo relies on high-flowing, rapidly-expanding exhaust gases to spin its turbine, which is made possible with a lower pressure, larger diameter exhaust.

Bit of a silly idea in my opinion. Not only are you making your car do something its nto designed to, but i can't help but think in my mind that you could be affecting the turbo (not enough backpressure on the inlet side to stop over-spin).
I am designing a new Engine management system, starting with the air flow meter.
