I figured out that hill decent doesn't work well in the sand on the LR3. You use it going down rocky slopes and stuff in Oman. The car is slipping in the sand anyways and when slope decent is on, it will reduce the spin making it get stuck.

That dune is crazy, went there yesterday and going up with the quad was no problem, but going down again was terrifying!

If that was scary, you have never been to Glamis or Dumont in California, only we tend tend to go down AND up our dunes,..........just a little more quickly.

hill decent control on disco 3 depends on the braking system, the other guy should have switched it off not to sink.
if you break you'll get stuck and hill decent control is all about braking.
