This might be a dumb question, but i was wondering if I where to buy (or have someone make) a barrel chambered in .17hmr, could i swap it out in my Ruger 10/22 chambered in .22lr? or is it more complicated than that? -Thanks and great video!

Has the .22 magnum version a delayed blowback or a looking device? Because a normal .22 lr. works with closed bolt blowback.

My Ruger has a a sorta red dot sight with a banana clip thats see through with a custumized barrel with a stainless steel reciver and trigger.

@varmintgetter .... so did you ever own a Ruger 10/22 Magnum and just decide to build yourself a dream gun of your liking? I'm really going to look into a .22WMR semi-auto custom build for myself since Ruger doesn't sell the Magnum anymore (shame). Or try to find a used 10/22 Magnum somewhere.

@purkjason Thank you for watching. The particular rifle in this video is a 10/22 magnum and customized it. I will be honest that I do not shoot this rifle as much as I mainly will use my Volquartsen when i do go varmint hunting with it. Good luck in your build and please share your update!
