  • What kind of no-tills do you have on there? Yetter? And what were you no-tilling into? I am going to be no-tilling into sod with a JD 7000 and yetter nt coulters.

  • @TheTuckerFarms yetter cleaners with no till coulters and double disk openers. No tilling in wheat stubble. added chains last year.

  • That remindes me so much of the 4240 we had, I really miss it

  • @caseman1134 wish i had gotten a 4440 or 4455 now for more HP, but the 4240 is solid.

  • do you like those closing wheels better than the rubber john deere style

  • Seem to do a good job in damp ground, but not so much in dry ground. Chains are recommended.

  • i have a 4240 sadly its on its last leg it needs an overhaul plan to do that this spring but 4240s are a real good tractor

  • i am going to be getting in to corn farming in illinios or indiana. how many acres do you grow?

  • @rbrentbillingsley the one we had had the fuel pump turned up to where it was pushing the same HP as a 4440, it was a beast
