When remembering loved ones, family and friends naturally wish to recall the highlights and happy moments they have shared together. Most people will have collected photographs, souvenirs, holiday videos and mementos of that cherished life to illustrate their memories. Julian Bogard was born in Borysław, Poland, on 1st October 1922. He lived through great hardship during the 2nd World War, but found happiness when he met his future wife, Dolly, in 1943.
Following the birth of his first son, Zbyskek, he was discharged from the Navy and the family settled in Portsmouth.
Julian lived in and around Portsmouth until the time of his death, aged seventy nine, on 13th April 2001.
By this time he had been the Director of his own company, and had two sons, one granddaughter and four grandsons -- all of whom miss him very much.
