Jacob Black - Animal I Have Become - The Twilight Saga

I do not own twilight, new moon, eclipse, as they are owned by Summit Entertainment or the song Animal I Have Become by Three Days Grace as it is owned by Jive Records. I'm just a huge fan and love to put my thoughts out there to share with other twilovers!!! Muah!!!

While I don't think that Jacob is right for Bella as a lover, have a super soft spot for Jake as Jake. His inception to the world of make believe was difficult ant lonely. Not as lonely as Sam's, but without Bella it was still hell. Especially knowing what she knew of the Cullens. This song is absolutely PERFECT for our poor Jake. This one I've been working on the longest, trying to make it fit to and absolute "T" for Jake. I will break down the song words/movie shots, explaining to my beloved book fans why they fit so nicely for Jake. Enjoy my lovelies!!!
(The build up of the music goes from his happy go lucky, kid personality to his natural enemity with the Cullens. I chose the second Edward pops into the screen to match when the guitar picks up heavy the emphasize this feeling up until the major turning point for Jacob and Bella; when Edward leaves and Jacob is left to the task of taking care of broken Bella)
I can't escape this hell. (The way Sam stares at him, waiting for "something" to happen, watching other boys (paul and jared)on the rez joining the "gang")
So many times I've tried,(Of course Jake avoids this at all costs, even when poor Embry joins the "gang")
But I'm still caged inside. (His body is already acknowledging his physical change of becoming a Werewolf, I thought a nice ab shot was an approprate way to depict this, and give my Lautner lovers a little thrill.)
Somebody get me through this nightmare. (Somebody being Bella, the nightmare of how anger affects him)
I can't control myself. (Self explanitory, his outburst was almost completely Werewolf gene induced. Of couse my book fans know no such outburt occurred, all Billy said was "you look weird" and poof, Jacob turns into a fur ball! But this shot fit nicely.)

So what if you can see,
The darkest side of me? (Bella seeing Jake as a wolf, or the "darker side" of him)
No one would ever change this animal I have become.
Help me believe, it's not the real me.
Somebody help me tame this animal. (This animal, this animal.)

(I feel the chorus is pretty self explanitory, he is learning to deal with being a werewolf without Bella. He also realizes that she knew a LOT more about the Cullens before he did, with his help. This of course is angering, and makes him a little petulant towards Bella)

I can't escape myself. (The urge to see Bella, Alpha command or not.)
So many times I've lied, (Telling her that he can't be her friend, that it won't work)
But there's still rage inside. (Just a general comment on the nature of werewolf transformation, beautifully portrayed by our volitile Paul).
Somebody get me through this nightmare. (The nightmare of Bella finding out, seeing for herself, and the possibility of losing her because of what she now knows.)
I can't control myself. (His desire for Bella to know, accept, and be safe, as well as his reflex to change in front of her to protect her.)

So what if you can see,

Somebody help me through this nightmare. (Bella again, being the one who can save Jake from the nightmare that is Edward in Jake's eyes.)
I can't control myself. (His strong enemity and distaste for Edward)

I can't escape this hell. (The hell of watching Bella being with Edward even after everything Eddie put Bella through)

This animal. 6X(The different types of animals Jacob is. The wolf, the volitile teenager, the unrequited lover, the best friend dreading the woman he loves fast approaching "death")


So what if you can see,
The darkest side of me? (The lusty dark side that doesn't care about restraint, who will fight to win Bella over, no matter what it takes).
No one would ever change this animal I have become. (Bellas wolf punch just went so nicely with the beat!)
Help me believe, it's not the real me.
Somebody help me tame this animal I have become.
Help me believe, it's not the real me. (This was just a beautiful build up and stande off with lots of matching beats to scene, and anger, and everything that is Jacob.)

Jake doesn't have a happy ending yet, it had to end on this heartbroken, defeated wolf departure. Until BD, we are just going to have to leave Jacob to his anger. Sorry loves. Hope you still enjoyed!!!

Ok, I know that NO ONE will answer, but maybe I'm wrong. I'm stuck between a few songs for a tribute video for Edward Cullen. This is a little different from a BXE tribute, cos it's more about his struggle than about them as a couple. That I won't touch until BD comes out. SOOOO A few songs I'm torn between for Eddie... I'm leaning between Crashed by Chris Daughtry, Only the Strong by Flaw, and So Far Away by Staind. Votes, comments, or even suggestions would be much appreciated!!! <3333
