i have a 98 trans am  ls1 with long tube headres of 1"3/4,stock motor,i would like to put a cam to my car that i dont want to have any problems because of the cam, what do you recomend me?l like how your car sounds ,

did you have to do some thing else to your car when you put the cam in to it?

A cam won't cause any problem as long as you have the mods to go with it. You must get valve springs that will handle the lift of the cam. Stock spring will only handle stock cam. Depending on how you use your car and if it's a manual or auto all depends on what size cam you should get.

@mvvette97 most ppl tune using a dyno i thought. im looking towards the texas speed 228r @ 114 for my .02 WS6 A4. currently at 33k . So far: Trans Go HD2 shift kit MSD 8.5 race wires SLP LM# 1 NGK-TR55IX plugs SLP pulley Volant CAI TCI 3000 street fighter 17'' M/T Drags TA Performance Girdle 3.73 Gears 5% tint but i want more. having to fix other problems for now. vibrations etc....harmonic balancer. ugghh 228r @ 114lsa comp beehives pushrods HP evo wheels tranny cooler
