I believe the intro to 'Cartoon Playhouse' was same music we have here. Dave Devall just did a voiceover intro'ing the show.

The kids would be occupied while their parents slept off Friday night's partying.

@Parkwaymania - They had also produced some of the early Muppet movies there, like "Hey Cinderella". RLP also was part of the production team that made "Chingachcook,(sp?) Last of the Mohicans" ... it was filmed in the Pickering area.

@Parkwaymania = Yes, I keep looking for Pick A Letter wth George Feyer, too ... I loved that show! I always thought that his name was "Fair" though, not Feyer ... just found out tonight that it was Feyer. It had been shot at my father's studio (well, it wasn't his yet ... he bought it years later, and it became Cinequip), RLP, Robert Lawrence Productions.

Yup, and cartoon playhouse was running as far back as the mid '60's when I was watching it.
