Closing Ceremony, M.Sc. Program - Pears Alumni Workshop

The international M.Sc. program in plant sciences - http://departments.agri.huji.ac.il/externalstudies/ - had a very colorful closing ceremony for the class of 2008-2009. Current graduates were joined by Faculty of Agriculture staff, diplomats, friends and alumni attending the Pears Alumni Workshop in Plant Sciences.

The event began with a very informal Bedouin feast, followed by the ceremony itself, which concluded with the M.Sc. choir singing in Hebrew! The new graduates then led the audience to the dance floor and dessert tables.

Part of the joy of the evening was the reunion of past alumni with Faculty staff who had taught them during their M.Sc. studies. Part stemmed from the budding friendships among current graduates and past alumni from the various years. All who attended were caught up in the magic of this unique evening!
