It comes down to this: Each "representative" that voted to pass Cap and Trade has violated their Congressional Oath of Office to "well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office." How on earth can you--in good faith--fulfill the duties of the office by voting to pass 1500 pages of legislation YOU HAVEN'T READ?!

So here's my own personal Oath: I do hereby solemnly swear to remove from office every representative who thinks it's ok to pass 1500 pages of ill-conceived legislation without knowing what's in it.

While I agree with the point... Have you read a Bill? Do you know how hard it is to read through them? They aren't organized like a book... It's like reading one of those contracts everyone sees before they install a program; only 2 dictionaries long.

Point being Bills should be kept short, but even so, I don't blame some congress men for not reading them.
