An enchanting magical animated adventure, in cinemas 8th February 2008. Once upon a time there were two children nursed by the same woman. Azur, a blonde blue-eyed son of a noble woman and Asmar, the dark skinned and dark-eyed child of the nurse. The two are raised as close of brothers till cruelly separated. Some years later they are reunited, but this time as rivals on their quest to free the mythical Djinn fairy, knowing that only one of them may succeed.

the art is beautiful but the animation itself is quite bad. Compared to Kirikou which is much older and made with much more traditional techniques, Michel Ocelots choice to use such computer animation is a bit of a surprise...
OMG! The art - it's scrumptious! The film's title in Chinese - "A Thousand and Two Nights" - hints of the kind of fantastical adventures like in Arabian Nights. But the art - pure enchantment!
