Snow Cave 2008 - The Massive Snow Compound Documentary

Here's another installation of Snow Cave 2008 for your viewing pleasure. This video shows, in greater detail, the scope of our endeavor which included a cave with accommodations for 10 people and gear, a beer pong table, 2 ski jumps and a party deck complete with lounge pit. projects represents rougly 150 man hours of labor and I'll tell you. It was all worth it. Please note this video has two curse words in it. I'll bleep them out for the family in the future. OH! And check out the little ski jump crash at the end of the video. Sort of funny. Stay tuned for Snow Cave 2009 coming in March!
I'd like to add one more thing about the Snow Cave experience. After each event we always commit ourselves to cleaning up packing out and leaving the area as pristine and clean as we found it.

What do you guys do to prevent cave-ins?

@gahzeyboe - Well. We make sure to incorporate fundamental structural practices in the build like arched ceilings, columns, and we try not to have too thick of a roof over our head but, to be honest, if we got any kind of earthquake action up there I don't know how that would turn out. As a footnote the snow was pretty packed that year and, as you can see in the video, diggers were practically chipping the stuff out.
