  • I gotta know one thing: Are all these 3 parts considered ONE piece of music? My teacher said that perhaps i should play this, but holy crap is it long!

  • @Baltizori Most of Beethoven's Sonatas are in several movements, which make up the Sonata. This one is in 3 parts, or movements, and lasts for about 20 minutes.

  • @Baltizori Most of time some will just perform one movement from the piece though.

  • @starborg9 That's what she said.

  • Has he played the Appassionata?? I'm 15, and currently working my way through the 3rd movement, and my favorite on youtube is Ms. Lisitsa's rendition.... However, he played this sonata so smoothly and with the most perfect musicality... I also saw his Chopin Ballade #1, which I recently started, and was COMPLETELY astonished at the fact that I had never heard of him before! His Beethoven and Chopin is marvelous and I'd love to see his rendition of the Appassionata.

  • Favourite movement of the entire Sonata

  • Simply beautiful and marvelous, thanks for sharing.

  • This makes me want to cry. And I don't know why! "Who can explain it? Who can tell you why? Fools give you reasons; wise men never try," says Oscar Hammerstein.

  • @barabr10 yeah makoto shishio lose theme)

    still remember, ha?))

  • Beautiful piece. This movement is a perfect follow-up for the first movement, Grave e Allegro di molto e con brio.

  • ...ehhh to me the touch seems a bit heavy and some of the notes seem a bit awkward. But I've been listening to Chopin all day so yeeaaah.

  • @KC1971J really? thnx for the info~! =)
