A college radio station would play this back in the 80s and I would crank it up at the stupid T-shirt shop where I worked. It sounds even better distorted through muzac speakers. One day the boss came out and was yelling "Turn that fuckin shit down!" I was folding shirts and couldn't hear him. He turned it down but was still shrieking at me like a crazy person and I started to laugh at him. I was 18, so punk rock and so fired. Flipper, Pop O Pies, Fang...etc.

My band Bomb's first ever gig, in 1986, was opening for Flipper. July 4th at The Farm in San Francisco. Good times, good times.

WPRB in Princeton used to play this all the time in 1980-81. Or maybe it just felt like it was all the time. In any case, it was always fun to hear it come on.

@SciPunk215 What did Cobain say about Flipper? also I don't think you should compare an experimental noise punk band to one of the an alternative rock/pop grunge band. Obviously they both have something to say and although I agree that this is better than Smells Like Teen Spirit, Nirvana has lots of songs (mostly on In Utero) that are just as good as this and speak to you in an un superficial or cliched way. Just because you listen
noisecore doesn't mean Nirvanas vapid cookie-cutter pop.
