@Terratracks , it splits everything I put through it, from spruce all the way to knotty maple and even did a ironwood, no problems like this and it has a smaller piston than the one in video! quit trying to defend something that doesn't work!
@Terratracks yes, I know that, but those 16" splitters only have a 16" track and the pushing plate still comes very close to the blade, unlike this one where it's upwards of 6" away from the blade, it's unacceptable and a PIECE OF GARBAGE. doesn't matter how much you try to sugar coat the issue, you can't defend this kind of shotty "workmanship" on this machine, it doesn't do the job is was intended to do, it does it half ass and horribly. my log splitter is home made and made properly cont..
@pyroman675 quit arguing and come to reason, this is a LOG SPLITTER! it's supposed to split the log in one go, not need to be flipped or finished with a ax, it's supposed to do almost all the work for you. this splitter was badly designed and made, if it can't do the job it's supposed to, it's garbage.
@flamedrag18 you finish with it with an axe? and with logs that size he may have not have had the power in the hydraulics to have it go further. and look at the size of his piston to
@pyroman675 what about for your last log? on a proper splitter, the piston plate goes to 1/4" from the blade so it splits but prevents the plate from dinging the blade and dulling it. this one was improperly made!
@Thinkle911 you people. its a log slipper get over yourself!

@pyroman675 that only works, if you have multiple blades and can split the wood in one cycle at once. this splitter isn't well designed...

@flamedrag18 thats why you put another log in it to finish splitting the other one you donut.

garbage, the piston doesn't even reach to the blade, horrible system.
