Lloyd Miller with Press Keys on a 1965 KBYU TV jazz special where they instigated the Oriental Jazz idiom. Here they do two straight jazz standards Doxy & I Remember April on which Press Keys plays amazing jazz accordeon.

  • You can read about the unbelievable adventures of Dr. Lloyd Miller traveling and performing through the Middle East and beyond by going to the jazzscope website and clicking on Sufi, Saint & Swinger. Some of the adventures playing and jamming in many musical styles around the Middle East during 7 years are very enlightening and fun reading.

  • is Press Keys the name of the accordion player? I'd love to see more, but can't find out anything about him...

  • a valve-trombone, yes. Not that uncommon.

  • trombone with buttons???
