Dungeons and Dragons: Hall of Bones

The Dungeons and Dragons cartoon has finally been released on DVD, but die-hard fans have noticed that the musical scores are different, making for a different emotional show. Therefore here is possibly my favorite scene from the original TV run, the great comeuppance that occurs every once in a while when the bad guy suddenly realizes he's made a BIG screw-up and is about to be pounded over the head for it. Venger gets blasted by the ghosts in the Hall of Bones, with his best acted line of dialogue ever:

"This is NOT POSSIBLE!!!"

Voiced by Peter Cullen, who was doing Optimus Prime around the same time, you can hear the accent of Optimus slip into Venger's voice throughout the series.

If you rent the new DVD, it has the never produced final script, where Venger is defeated once and for all and the kids go home (we think ;) )

this was a show of good people.look how Diana's character was a strong woman without any pity or special treatment. This is conservatives perspective as opposed to the liberals. this show taught to be creative and honest.

I never thought of it that way before. Diana was treated as an equal and was as strong as any of them due to her own ability, not special treatment. Good point.

Do I hear the sound of Megatron's fusion cannon as Venger fires an energy/magic blast at the ghosts? Could be wrong, though, and the sound itself probably existed before Transformers (maybe it was one of the ones that show took from Star Wars, I don't know).
