  • @Egahm23 cvt uses the power more efficiently as far as i know... cvt doesnt make shocks(which are loss of power)

  • are you using stock exhaust?

  • @MattHutzell dont change plans xD... ull never regret it...

  • @LordKevin92 Out where I live though... <3 Plus I never plan on living in a big city. :D

  • @MattHutzell XD yeah... "hating it" would be nothing to the real feeling. lol

  • @LordKevin92 Ya I live out of big cities, though I really don't mind driving stick in heavy traffic. Of course, I'm 19. Give it 10 years and I'll hate that part. xD

  • @MattHutzell everyone has a different taste so its fine :) i have got 37 mpg on highway :D the reviews on the lancer in internet say 30 but.. its not true XD... i do a lot of city driving(and where i live there are traffic jams every single time i go out) so when i bought the car i opted for cvt. if it werent for the traffic factor, i would have bought the car with manual

  • @LordKevin92 I drive a 1994 Honda Accord right now. It's a 5 speed manual. It has over 250K miles and still gets around 25 MPG. And I have fun while driving it.

I'm glad you like the CVT, but I can't stand them. It ruins the car experience for me. =/

  • @MattHutzell look at the bright side.. CVT makes the car more fuel efficient (money IS a mayor issue) and the nature of the cvt makes the car perform better without shocks, which translates in loss of power.. probably in the future, CVTs will improve and will be much better than they are now.

i also have a lancer.. an ES sport with the "6 speed" CVT and i dont have any complaints.. the ride's smooth and every1 like to ride on it cuz of that :P

  • Of all this new car bullshit coming out, cvt is by far my least favourite.
