  • creo que tiene una idea vaga de como hacerlos,le sugiero quitarse los anillos para hacer de comer es muy antihigienico, pero se agradece la intencion.

  • To make the tortilla you have to flip it after 5 seconds, then cook it on the other side until it is done and then flip it again and then press- it will puff right away.

  • @takealeando my dads parents raised him with cooking with lard and till this day he is very healthy on my moms side they used oil and she has diabetes. So like somebody else had commented it all depends on how much you use. Oh yeah and i also cook for my family with lard we wouldnt have it any other way.

  • do they make larger tortilla presses double that size

  • thank you!!!!!

  • This video was put together well and was very informative

  • @sirach those are not tortillas those are gorditas the only latin country that invented and dose the tortillas are Mexico now you got diferrent country that dose diffrenet you got those that call erepas you got gorditas and so on and so on guatemala they got alot of dishes ande diners that are very similar that what mexico does and in mexico allways i say allways eat tortillas at diner breakfast and all and only mexico does it

  • @Sogwa Tortillas are made differently depending on where you go.

I learned how to make tortillas from a Guatemalan, and their tortillas are thicker, heartier and smaller. She would just place the little cakes on the pan for 10 seconds on each side until they were slightly coloured, and they were finished! :D

  • @takaleando well you could skip the lard, but if you keep the proportions right, it will be fine, lard has less saturated fat than butter, i've lost 75 pounds from cutting proportions, exercise, eating little processed food and not cutting out things i love. Know the food your eating. A little lard will give a flavor you cannot get with oil. Make the rest of your meal fresh fruit and vegetables!

  • YUMMY!

Why don't they serve these tortilla dishes in Langly Park (Baby El Salvador) Md. USA?!?! I LOVE Latino food but l've never had any of those tortilla dishes.

& I will say that l gave up on trying to make tortillas. They all come out fat, small, and thick as my roommate rudely laughed at me trying. At least l tried. l never saw her cook & she' was Nicaraguan!

  • You can do all this without LARD, just use oil. Don't become a statistic (Mexicans one of the highest rates of diabetes and obesity)
