Why is this so complicated? America, you were NOT wanted there. You didn't leave, so Hezbollah forced you out.
If Hezbollah decided to camp out in New York without your will, wouldn't you do something about it? and if you do would that be considered terrorism? because you attacked foreign SOLDIERS in YOUR country? or is it just terrorism when the basic act of self-defense is done by middle easterns?
The world is one biased place

@MrRightFFM2 Terrorism is what the US and every western US ass licking biased country would call it. I see it nothing more than "get out of our country, or we'll send you out". and they succeeded. the mighty US left Lebanon short after this.

If they set up an encampment like the Romans 2000 years ago no truck load of explosive would have gotten through. i. e. A log wall surrounded by a moat.

Who is the Sand Nigger they are interviewing?

I feel strongly both ways... we need to end our wars in central Asia and I would gladly rip the guts out of any raghead that does not condem attacks on America.
I defend freedom of religon until it uses that freedom to kill those of us that defend it.
We went in to save the PLO...then to prevent further Palistinian killings, and this was the thanks we got....Cpl. Graham 2/8

Shortly after the bombing, Reagan appointed a Pentagon commission headed by retired Admiral Robert Long to investigate. The commission concluded that military commanders in Lebanon and all the way back to Washington failed to take obvious steps to protect the soldiers. The commission noted that the "prevalent view" among U.S. commanders was that there was a direct link between the Navy shelling of the Muslims and the truck bomb attack.
The real reason why it happend:
Col. Timothy J. Geraghty, Commander, Marines in Beirut during the incident, said that "The Marine headquarters were targeted because the US provided direct naval gunfire support -- which I strongly opposed for a week -- to the Lebanese Army at a mountain village called Suq-al-Garb on September 19. American support removed any lingering doubts of our neutrality, and I stated to my staff at the time that we were going to pay in blood for this decision.
The End

I don't understand why It's called "terrorism". Terrorism is when you attack civilians and not uninvited foreign troops in your own country?!
