Okay I got the feeling of it now.
Haha thanks slionboy :D

WHAT is ur graphics?!!

A real FMC is probably programmed with several million lines of code, something impossible for addon developers to do unfortunately, so we'll have to live with the limitations :)

Hmmm...So both PSS and PMDG are wrong! Fascinating!

Thanks,
Well in the MCP, LNAV basically means the Longitudinal Navigation, which means that in AP mode, it would auto track the lateral direction and helps to navigate the plane.
While the RNAV is an Area Navigation, which allows a pilot to fly a selected course to a predetermined point without the need to overfly ground-based navigation stations.(Eg, u are flying a sequence from point A-B-C. but now you don't feel like to fly to point B. So you adjust your course to fly directly to C)

I'm not very sure or very good at explaining the RNAV. You can ask Airtumbuktu for help! And let me know the fully explanation of RNAV.

Yup, the same thing happens on the PSS777 as well. Nice job :)

Thanks, Yup anyway youe PSS777 dummy helped me a lot. As I've got a PSS lately and learning the philosophy of it now..

But what's the purpose of putting a route discontinuity? I always fill the gaps (i.e. eliminate discontinuity).
bravonismo 2 years ago
Oh well.. this is a sort of do you know what will happen in a real life scenario if discontinuity happens.
I'm trying to use my PMDG to do a real life scenario and to my surprise they didn't programmed it.
