Here's a collaboration I did with Roberto (u2cure). He did most of the song, Bass and solos, whilst I played the main riffs (on my Telecaster). All good fun and we hope you like it.

  • Maybe it'd weird but first time in my life, I don't really like the way john is playing.. During chorus.

  • @dommelsch Hey man! This video is not a fake! Gerry is playing his part and i do my work. Some parts of the video is a "little bit" out of syncro 'cause i record video and audio separately!!!!!!

Is it all in your mind now?? What an idiot...........

  • The ending kind of had the sound of Vertigo's demo 'Native Son' from the Unreleased and Rare album. Neat!

  • Yes, this is the path where I want to see you going ... Very nice try.

What I like the most is the improvisation. I don't have to hear exact copies of the u2 songs (although it is nice too). I want to hear the add-on ... the special expression how you put your part and your feelings into the songs.

    Thanky ou.

  • @sugiero90 I think that edge don't stop the strings like Gerry did. I understand what you mean. It's true :)

  • just don't feed the troll...don't respond to him.

btw when Edge is playing the main riff I think it sustains a little longer, I don't know what's it all about but I can hear in u2john316 playing (and also in my..) this kinda to short sustain, maybe Edge uses some fuzz to this or more compression, I don't know..

  • For some reason this cover reminds me of The Who.

  • @u2john316 I just use a good camera, so sound and vid does match!

  • @dommelsch The sound and video are recorded into separate sources. The microphone in a video camera doesn't yield a good sound so I often record into a multi-track. Then I sync it back up again. Check out some of my other recent videos and you'll see how I record. I can assure you it's our playing. You obviously don't record much with Video and Sound.

  • @TalkToTheBody It's just too obvious. Sound and vid doesn't match. Just recorded someone else his playing, and added their pathetic guitarplaying. Fake!
