Wanda Landowska plays Gavotte in g-minor by Bach. The record was issued from Japan Victor during mid 30s, as a part of Victor Immortal Selection of Great Victor Artists with special label similar to HMV. This series contains further Culp, Thibaud, Casals, Pachmann, Gerhardt, Melba and Kreisler Brother, each performing less known repertoires, thus few sales could have been expected in Japan at that time as a single issue. The entire titles will be posted upon request by one of the viewers.

  • Not many musicians from XX century play Bach in a way which we accept now. She definitely does.

  • An excellent performance by a great harpsichordist!

  • do we have her in any complete partitas or suites? wow! the registration she chooses is interesting .Thougth it was a lute instrument and then it's like several instruments at once.Geese so the double keyboard can do things?

  • very interesting registration

  • Wow, it's very rare, I never heard it before. Thanks to share.
