Mary Beth Kemp, Principal Analyst at Forrester Research spoke at the CSN Conference 2008 in Amsterdam on how European Consumers are adopting social computing to connect to others and to make themselves heard. In particular, young consumers have joined forces online. Marketers and communicators are beginning to recognize the power of communities and are testing different ways to participate. Some are joining ready made networks and others are creating bespoke groups to connect with their clients. We'll look at examples and best practice for getting involved. And examine the evolution of online communities.
