@JSLegoMaster Also, it's not the best quality. so if they did film down at the enemy, odds are you wouldn't see them anyways, but i've noticed the same thing

@wdmnetwork dude the apaches are usally a couple of miles away from what their shooting
-
@wdmnetwork Afghanistan isn't in the middle east.. its in Central Asia

@JSLegoMaster Your an idiot. Sorry this isn't like the movies. This warfare is totally different then say battle strategies used during WW2 or Vietnam. The enemy today is a bunch of cowards. They are constantly moving. We only engage when we are fired upon. Most of the time you will not see the enemy in MOST CASES not ALL, so don't take that wrong. You shoot at the direction you are being shot at. Totally different battle...

But instead of an huge photo camera attached to the helmet, it is something smaller

1:16 looks just like we are watching German soldiers from the 2nd world war ^^...
...That's cool

@JSLegoMaster because it is the american way, shooting the air. Dont you know that the new war is about americans against terrorist air?
Down with air!

Also you can check out 00:52... some major editing going on as the the boy on the what looks like M249 cracks a smile...

That and if you listen at 00:36 one of the guys says "Live Fire" and I don't ever remember those words every being said during a fire fight... Or that command ever having to have been given... When shit went down our Sergeants never had to say "live fire" to let us know it was okay to use live rounds lol

Personally I know in my experience in fire fights there was no smiling and winking at each other as seen in this video. secondly the ridge line over looking yall got a fuck you package. So in my mind if that ridge line got a fuck you package from the air boys then their had to be combatants up there, and if there was combatants up there all that section would all be KIAs with how exposed yall are. Looks like target practice to me. Did more of that then actual fighting.
You dont see a single enemy in this vid, only ameicans shooting. How come you never, never never ever see the enemy on camera in american war fotages?

@JSLegoMaster If you can see the eneemy, they can see you, and the camera person would then be in a bit of jam don't ya think? Combat Camera people have a hard enough time not getting killed, trying to film the enemy would make it even easier to get shot or killed. Thats why you don't see the enemy in MOST footage. Also the blood and gore factor is not well liked on YouTube, although it depends on who you are and why your posting it sometimes I think.

@3rdID8487 that's not true at all. you can see the enemy and he can be totally oblivious. not to mention an apache can see an enemy and they won't even know what hit them. they make helmet cams and cameras that get mounted on the top of tanks... so it is VERY possible to see the enemy.
It's just that the majority of soldiers who capture this footage are rarely in close combat. These middle eastern wars are like fighting ants in an ant farm.

@wdmnetwork Whats not true? I am talking combat camera not helmet and weapons mounted cams. Have lots of those videos if you want to watch. Search "gun camera footage". I am talking about people filming with a handheld camera. Nothing I said is not true.
