Amnesia- 14

Joe and I weren't mad at each other anymore, and we had our own space. I was begininning to get completely furious that nobody's come for me, and I couldn't stop myself from angrily throwing rocks at the water. It was a week after Joe and I made up and I was sitting on the rocks. I heard an unfamiliar sound from the far distance. It was like a 'thump...thump...thump' sound. As the sound grew closer, the sound grew louder and faster. After a minute, it sounded like, "THUMPTHUMPTHUMP" and I was confused. I called the guys out to see if they knew what it was. We all looked around. Then, Joe burst out shouting, "HELICOPTER!!!!!!!!" He pointed to the sky ahead and we saw a helicopter heading right toward us. My heart raced as the wind flew around at us. The helicopter slowed down and landed on the island near us. The doors opened and about five people ran out at us. One man, a little older than myself, ran right toward me yelling, "KATE!!!!" and pulled me into a kiss. My stomach lurched and my lips tingled. I was about to pull away and slap the man, but as I pulled away I collapsed into unconsiousness.

Joe's POV *haha finally someone elses pov, right?!*
Some man ran over and kissed Melissa. Anger built up in me as she pulled away. She collapsed and my heart shattered. I ran over and kneeled down next to her, and so did the man. "Melissa!!" I shouted, seeing if I could get her pulse. "What?!?! Her name is KATE!" The man screamed at me. I ignored him and looked back down at Melissa. I checked her pulse. "She's still breathing. I don't know what happened." I said. The helicopter pilot came over and took her into the helicopter. He's trained in first-aid aparantly. So, we made a fire and all sat around it as the helicopter pilot worked on Melissa. "Okay, who the heck are you?!" I asked the man. "I'm Ash, Kate's fiancee`." he answered. "Who's Kate?" Kevin asked. "Uh, the one that you guys keep calling Melissa." he shrugged. Nick, Kevin and I exchanged glances. "You see, we were on a cruise ship during a horrible thunder storm. I was trying to yell at her to go inside, but it's like she was frozen. Then, a lightning bolt hit the ship. She fell overboard and the storm took her. That was the last time anyone saw her. I've been searching all over the world for her." he said quietly. I gulped. "Well, Ash, she hit her head and got amnesia. She ended up on our island and has been living with us ever since." Nick replied. Ash seemed out of it. "You're her FIANCEE`?!" I asked, a little upset. He nodded. "Yeah. I love her a lot." he said softly. I gulped. But...She's mine.
